The Leonids in 2007 should be better than in previous years, when the activity of the Tempel-Tuttle comet meteor shower was not very significant. It is assumed November 17, 2007 around 00.22UT with ZHR 130

Earth should encounter both old and new particle clouds. The 1932 cloud will be very close to Earth and should reach a ZHR of 20 to 30. But more interesting is the cloud of particles ejected by the comet in 1733, which produced the amazing meteor shower in 2001.
Meteors will fly out of the radiant with coordinates RA=154°; DEC=+21.4°. The meteors will be very fast (their geocentric speed is 70.9 km/s). At the time of the expected maximum, the Moon will be just setting and the radiant will already be about 20° above the horizon. So the conditions for visual observation are quite favorable for Central Europe.
