    Slovak Championship on VHF bands in the period 2005/2006

    Championships of the Slovak Republic on very short waves (VHF) in the period 2005/2006 represent the culmination of the year-long efforts of Slovak radio amateurs in the field of VHF operation. The competition consisted of four races, while the results of individual rounds were included in the overall rating. The aim of the championships is to support the activity of stations on VHF bands, improve the technical level of equipment and promote modern methods of radio communication.

    V kategórii jedného operátora (SINGLE OP) traditionally strong stations took the first places - he became the winner OM1DK, ktorý dosiahol najvyšší počet bodov a stopercentnú úspešnosť. Druhú priečku obsadil OM2VL, známy svojou konzistentnou výkonnosťou vo viacerých pretekoch. Na treťom mieste sa umiestnil OM3TZQ, ktorý potvrdil stabilné výsledky počas celej sezóny.

    V kategórii multiple operators (MULTI OP) dominoval klub OM3KII, ktorý s výrazným náskokom potvrdil svoju technickú i prevádzkovú prevahu. Druhé miesto patrilo tímu OM0C, nasledovanému stanicou OM3W, ktorá sa umiestnila v tesnom závese.

    The results once again showed the high level of Slovak radio amateurs and their willingness to devote time, effort and technical knowledge to the development of VHF operation, which remains an important part of amateur broadcasting.
