Peter OK2CQR will be the new KV PA evaluator. On this occasion, there are changes in KV PA. As Peter writes:
"Karel OK1HCG decided to stop evaluating KV after 20 years Operating assets. It must have been a lot of work - an admirable performance, Karel, thank you for it. I decided to continue this activity, but to make the evaluation fairer and easier, I decided to change the conditions of the race. In the end, this is quite a big change.
Multipliers were canceled first and the sequence number of the connection will be transmitted as a code (QSO). Probably the biggest change, however, will be the obligation to send the evaluator the entire diary from the race. No more reports. New conditions valid from July 1, 2010 can be found in the section Conditions.
For your convenience, I have created a web form through which you can upload a race log. No need to email anything. All you have to do is click on the menu on the KV PA website Upload a race log and you simply insert your journal along with a comment. After entering, the diary will be checked and you will be notified of any errors. If no errors are found, an email will be automatically sent to your address.
After the deadline for submitting the journals, the results will appear on the site within a few days. I will try to automate the evaluation process as much as possible, and I would like to reach a state where the results are displayed already on the second day after the deadline for sending the logs.
