The operation of the independent information server of the radio amateur club OK2KKW has been canceled until further notice. The members of the amateur radio club will consult whether the operation of this server and other publicly beneficial radio amateur activities will continue in some form, or whether this private support will vkv amateur radio operation, not only in the Czech Republic, but also in other European countries, definitively ended.
The reasons for this decision are probably obvious. Above all, it is the hatred of a significant part of the radio amateur community towards those who until now ensured the operation of this independent information server. The hatred that resulted to attacks, which no longer have anything to do with hamspirit principles. Attacks that are a specific Czech "reward" for the fact that the operators of the OK2KKW website have been demanding the representatives of the Czech Republic to behave openly and honestly throughout the years. So that the Czech amateur radio VKV community is gradually rid of the relics of the past, of unfair, behind-the-scenes and profiteering behavior, widespread among exponents of the former regime and their spiritual successors. It is a sad fact that such ways of thinking, far removed from the original ideas of hamspirit, are unfortunately still strongly present in the minds of many of us. Therefore, the time has come for a fundamental re-evaluation of the activities of the operators of these information websites and a thorough consideration of whether it even makes sense to continue working for the radio amateur public.
Until the final decision of the members of the amateur radio club, we are temporarily keeping ours in operation discussion board. However, we do not intend to manage it administratively during this time. For technical reasons, we haven't even turned off our lighthouse yet.
