The event took place under good broadcasting conditions, without interference and seems to be to the satisfaction of the participants - at least according to their comments. The number of participants has basically not changed compared to the previous round seven years ago. It was pleasing that this time the youth category was also occupied, although only by a single participant.
Although it was not a typical race (the main goal was to remember the times of the OL stations and meet friends), the number of connections and balanced results show that no one was bored on the band. Many participants appeared on 160 m after many years, others built temporary antennas.
Diplomas for the winning stations were distributed and each participant received a souvenir QSL. Thanks to the sponsors of the event - the companies Cassiopeia Consulting (OK1FUA) and Kabex (OK1MY) - for valuable prizes for the first three stations in each category.
The only question remains - what next? A large part of the participants expressed a wish for the event to be repeated more often than once every few years. We'll see…
