Jozef OM3BC received a diploma as one of the few radio amateurs in the world DXCC in the 2m range. Congratulations!
What is the DXCC Diploma?
DXCC (DX Century Club) is a prestigious award in amateur radio given by the American Radio Relay Association (ARRL).

Basic information:
- To obtain a basic DXCC diploma, you must confirm radio links with at least 100 different "DXCC entities" (countries/territories)
- Established in 1937, the program is one of the oldest and most respected awards in amateur radio.
- An entity is not always the same as a country - for example some islands, dependencies or specific territories are counted as separate entities
Types of DXCC diplomas: There are several categories according to the mode and band used:
- Mixed (mixed modes)
- CW (telegraphic mode)
- Phone (voice mode)
- Digital (digital modes)
- Satellite connections
- Specific frequency bands (e.g. 160m, 80m, etc.)
Higher degrees: After getting basic DXCC you can collect more entities and get endorsements for 150, 200, 250 up to more than 300 entities.
It is a great success in the radio amateur community and motivates them to make connections all over the world.
