Despite the prevailing weather conditions, we participated PA VHF/UHF February, already from our favorite stock - Kojšovská hoľa WWL KN08LS. Of course, we carefully followed the weather forecasts, these finally according to the facts, it can be said that they came out 100% and it seems that they were the record peak of this year's winter. The wind speed was especially unpleasant, because it could not only disrupt the construction of the antennas, but also unpleasantly multiply the cold. And we were so pleased when we found out on Saturday evening that there was almost no wind. On Sunday morning in Košice, the thermometer showed -9 degrees. C, but when we went up, it was predicted to be -17 degrees C. Even though we had almost everything ready, it took us over two hours to get dressed, as long as we were QRV and that was already a few minutes before the start, so we jumped right into the race.
They were pleased with the connections on 70 cm with OK1TEH – JO70 and OK4DX from JO69 (ODX 606 km) and a great signal on 23 cm from OK2UYZ – TNX !!!
