On the occasion of the upcoming Easter holidays in 2008, the KIKI FAN CLUB announces a new type of emergency race called "Just Wait Rabbits!"
The race will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2008 in two separate stages:
- the stage from 17:00 to 18:00 UTC on the 80 meter band with SSB operation only,
- stage from 19:00 to 20:00 UTC on band 2 meters with FM operation only.
Each stage will be evaluated separately.
Challenge to the Race: "Just Wait"
Note: Special stations will work in the race, which will be announced as Easter symbols (a sheep, a ram, a wolf and several hares). Connections with these stations will be discounted with points.
Upload code: RST + sequence number of the connection.
Special stations transmit: RST + connection sequence number / their symbol.
Scoring:
- For each complete connection - 5 points
- For connecting with a hare - 10 points
- With a ram or with a wolf - 15 points
- With a sheep - 20 points
Multipliers - THEY ARE NOT. The result is a simple sum of points. In each stage, it is possible to establish one valid connection with each station.
Diaries – within 14 days after the race by post or electronically to the organizer's address.
For electronic diaries, please use text format or Excel.
Diplomas – The first 3 stations in each stage will receive a commemorative diploma, the other participants will receive a commemorative letter.
