1. These conditions apply from January 1, 2007 for the Easter Race (hereinafter referred to as the main race) and the Children's Easter Race (hereinafter referred to as the Children's Race), which is announced by Rádioklub Tanvald.
2. The race is always held every Easter Sunday, from 8.00-14.00 UTC the main race, followed by the Easter children's race from 14.00-15.00 UTC.
3. Connections with non-competing stations are also valid, but they are obliged to transmit the entire competition code, including the sequence number.
4. Competition categories:

SA (SINGLE OP) – a station manned by an individual without any outside help during the race. Foreign assistance during the race is understood as self-service of the transmitting and receiving equipment, routing of antennas, keeping a diary and overview of the stations worked with, service of equipment for accessing the PR network.
MO (MULTI OP) – other stations

Types of operation: CW and phone according to the license conditions, while it is necessary to follow the recommendations of Region I IARU for various types of operation in frequency sections of amateur radio bands.
All station equipment must be placed on an area with a maximum diameter of 500 meters. The location of the station must not be changed during the race.
5. Používanie DX Clusteru a pod. nie je obmedzené.
6. Each station may only have one signal on one band at a time, disregarding the signal(s) needed to connect to the packet radio network.
7. Several stations can broadcast from one station, it depends on the agreement between them.
8. The power output of the transmitter output stage must be in accordance with the permit conditions, unless otherwise specified by plant conditions. For the children's race, the maximum power is 10 watts.
9. Connections EME, cross-band and through terrestrial or space transmitters are not included in the race.

10. Only one valid connection can be counted with each station in the race on each competition band, in which the complete competition code was transmitted and confirmed by both stations. Repeated connections must be marked in the log (RPT, DUPE, etc.) with a point value of 0.
11. The contest code consists of RS or RST, sequence number of the connection and WW locator. The sequence number of the connection must start with the number 001 on each band. The complete code, including the sequence number of the connection from 001, is also transmitted by non-competing stations that do not want to be evaluated. Three zeros - 000 - is not a proper sequence number and the connection will be marked as invalid by the evaluator. Stations that do not want to be rated do not have to send a log!
12. Scoring: One point is counted for each kilometer of bridged distance between the two stations. The point value of the connection in the competition diary must be given as a whole number. 1 point is counted for connections in the same WW locator. According to the recommendation of IARU Region I, a coefficient of 111.2 should be used for the conversion of degrees to kilometers, taking into account the curvature of the Earth. The WGS-84 (World Geodetic System 1984) system is used to determine the latitude and longitude of the competition site for calculating the locator.
13. The competition diary can only be sent to the evaluator in electronic form.
14. The electronic log must be in the EDI format (REG1TEST), designated as the standard format for the evaluation of plants within IARU Region 1. The log in another format will not be accepted and the station will not be evaluated in the plant.
15. The diary must be separate for each competition zone.
16. The diary from the race must be sent to the evaluator's address no later than the tenth day after the end of the race.

17. The connection is invalid if the station has in the log:
- any error in the received code, i.e. j. in a tag, report, connection serial number or locator,
- connection time difference greater than 10 minutes from the correct UTC time.
18. For a repeated and counted connection, ten times the point value of the counted repeated connection will be deducted from the controlled station.
19. The station will not be evaluated in the race:
- for non-compliance with competition or licensing conditions,
- for more than 10% of incorrectly calculated distances,
- for false or erroneous data listed in the competition diary,
- for unsportsmanlike behavior in the race.

20. Prices:
Main plant:
- Big Easter Egg
for a record number of points, meaning the sum of all bands in which the station competed. - Little easter egg
- for the first three places in the SO and MO categories, if at least 15 stations are evaluated in the given category,
- for first place, if at least 5 stations are evaluated in the given category,
- for the best foreign station working outside the territory of OK,
- for the best NOVICE station. It is necessary to indicate NOVICE in the electronic journal in the [Remarks] field.
Children's race:
A small Easter egg - for the first three places in absolute order, after adding up the points from all the bands in which the station competed. Only operators under the age of 18 on the day of the race will be evaluated in this race. It is necessary to enter the date of birth of the operators in the electronic diary in the [Remarks] field.
21. The evaluator's decision is final.
22. Send the journals to:
info@ok1kkt.cz or via the OK1KKT website at ok1kkt.cz in the Easter race section.
