The sixth stage of the Short Listening Period (SLP) competition, which took place on July 13 and 14, 2013, again brought a significant shift in the overall ranking and confirmed the growing form of several competitors. This time it was dominated by Jan Mandos (NL997), who achieved an extremely high score of 97,433 points – the best result in this stage and one of the highest performances of the entire year. His consistent performances since Stage 2 keep him firmly at the top of the standings.
Vladimir Ignatov (R3A-847) finished second in the stage with 78,597 points. This result secured him second place in the overall standings and at the same time significantly reduced the point gap from the leader. Third place belongs to Jozef Marcincak (OM3-0001), who scored 22,195 points and is gradually building a stable position in the top four of the overall ranking.
Helmut Grund (DE2HUG) with 8,052 points, Johan Heus (NL9723) with 6,032 points, Marc Stinkens (ONL4638) with 5,673 points and the newcomer of this stage, Dusan Hanak (OK2-9329), who made his debut with a decent score of 4,488 points, placed in the second half of the stage leaderboard.
Jan Mandos (328,186 points) leads the overall standings after six stages, followed by Vladimir Ignatov (251,515 points). The third place belongs to Jozef Marcincak, who with 56,829 points keeps his distance from other competitors. NL6904 remains in fourth place with a total of 52,190 points, but he has not scored for the third time in a row, which may affect his position in the next rounds.
