Results of the first stage of SLP 2011

The first stage of SLP 2011, which took place during the weekend of January 29-30, brought very interesting and balanced results. The contestants demonstrated high activity and precise work in receiving and evaluating radio connections. Right at the beginning of the year, a clear order was created, which can significantly influence the overall development of the competition.

The winner was Vladimir Ignatov R3A-847, who collected up to 14915 points. His performance confirms long-term stability and experience, which he regularly demonstrates in international competitions SWL competitions. Right behind him was Jozef Marcincák OM3-0001 with a score of 13,884 points, thus securing an excellent starting position for the next stages and at the same time showing that he is among the biggest favorites in the competition.

Third place went to Jan Meulenberg NL6828 with a total of 11948 points, thus confirming his long-term consistent performance. Johan Heus NL9723 finished in fourth place with 11,570 points, which is only a slight distance from the bronze bar. The top five is rounded off by Hans Lambregts NL7403, which scored 3916 points.

In the middle of the field were Bill Smith W1-7897 with 3520 points, Sjuk Veenstra NL6904 with 2736 points and Adriano Ficcadenti I0-2046/VT with 750 points. The ranking is closed by Daan van Breemen NL13520, who scored 648 points.
