Výsledky New Year contest-u 2007

New Year contest 2007 priniesol opäť vzrušujúcu súťažnú atmosféru a potvrdil, že rádioamatéri z rôznych krajín sú schopní ukázať svoje schopnosti aj v zimných podmienkach. Tento ročník sa niesol v znamení aktívnej účasti, vysokého nasadenia a prekvapivých výsledkov. Organizátori hlásili mimoriadnu účasť, a preto boli konečné výsledky nielen zaujímavé, ale aj náročné na spracovanie.

First place went to Jan NL997 who showed excellent skills and scored the highest number of points - 379. His performance and strategy in the competition was a demonstration of thorough preparation and efficient operation. In second place was Jozef, OM3-0001, with a score of 276. Jozef secured the position closely behind the winner, proving his consistent and experienced work throughout the race. The third row belonged to Geo, SWL ID ONL3647, with 262 points, which confirmed stable and persistent operation with its connections, thus deserving the award for the quality and quantity of connections.

Other places were occupied by Arthur, GW5218 (255 points), and Vladimir, R3A-847 (243 points). Both competitors demonstrated good tactics and the ability to react quickly to changing conditions during the competition. Paul, ONL3058 scored 218 points and confirmed that his consistent performance puts him among the strong contenders. Jean-Jacques, ONL383 (162 points), and Hans, NL7403 (160 points) held their place in the middle of the leaderboard, each showing interesting connections and effective use of their lane time.

The other places were Steffen, NL4496 (147 points), Marc, ONL4638 (146 points), Johan, NL9723 (85 points), Hans, NL655 (66 points), Marc, NL13216 (64 points) and Peter, NL13339 (40 points). Each of these competitors contributed to the overall quality of the race and showed that even lower placings can be the result of interesting and technically demanding combinations.
