Results: Youth Field Day 2012 provides an overview of successful connections and performances of young radio amateurs who demonstrated their technical skills, endurance and operator discipline during the competition.
The individual category was dominated by station OM3KII, which recorded 29 connections from its location in JN88UU locator at an altitude of 970 m and achieved the highest score of 4582 points. It also impressed with the longest connection with OK1OAB at a distance of 383 km. Station OM0AM came in second with ten connections and a score of 496 points, achieving the longest connection with OM3GI at 89 km.
In the multi-operator category, station OM3KAP won with an impressive score of 7388 points and 48 connections. The longest connection was made again with OK1OAB, this time for a distance of up to 453 km. Second place was taken by OM3VSZ and third by OM3RMY, who also demonstrated the excellent level and quality preparation of their teams.
