The competition, intended for young radio amateurs, showed again that a capable generation of operators capable of keeping up with international competition is growing up in Slovakia. The results were processed by Palo (OM5CM) and published on July 31, 2013.
In the category 144 MHz Single the station won OM3KUN. With a power of 100 W, an antenna of 4×10 elements DK7ZB and a locator JN99GK, it reached 4,762 points for 33 valid connections. The longest connection was made with OK1DQT/P at a distance of 415 km.

In the category 144 MHz Multi station dominated OM3CHAP, which scored 4,111 points for 27 connections. She worked from the locator JN98HP at an altitude of 1,358 m and the best DX was a connection with OK1DQT/P at 433 km. She took the second place OM3VSZ with 2,629 points and finished third OM3KII with a total score of 2,166 points.
On the band 432 MHz Single the station won the championship again OM3KII with 17 connections and a final score of 1,948 points. The second one is over OM3KUN with a single valid connection for a distance of 88 km.
Numerous control diaries of Czech and Slovak stations were also included in the evaluation, which helped to accurately evaluate the competition. The youth field day thus once again confirmed its importance for the development of the skills of young radio amateurs and for healthy competition within the community.
