The third round of the 2009 Short Listening Period (SLP) series of competitions took place during the weekend of March 28-29, 2009. It produced very interesting results and confirmed the high level of international participation. He took the first place with a significant lead Vladimir Ignatov (R3A-847) z Ruska, ktorý dosiahol 60282 bodov. Druhé miesto patrí Jozefovi Marcincákovi (OM3-0001) zo Slovenska s 18900 bodmi, ktorý tak potvrdil svoje dlhodobé pôsobenie medzi najlepšími SWL operátormi v regióne. Tretie miesto obsadil Bill Smith (W1-7897) z USA so ziskom 9396 bodov.
V tesnom závese nasledujú Hans Lambregts (NL7403), Paul Lemeire (ONL3058), Johan Heus (NL9723) a Eelco Verkaik (NL10133), who confirmed the strong position of Dutch and Belgian listeners in this category.
After publication of the running order SLP Competition 2009 si vedúcu pozíciu udržiava Vladimir Ignatov R3A-847 so súčtom 72 216 bodov, nasledovaný Billom Smithom W1-7897 a Jozefom Marcincákom OM3-0001. Tretie kolo tak naznačilo zaujímavý vývoj súťaže a napäté poradie, ktoré bude pokračovať v nasledujúcich etapách roka 2009.
