Mikrovlnné preteky roku 2004 priniesli zaujímavé výsledky v kategóriách slovenských staníc na najvyšších amatérskych pásmach. Súťaž, ktorá testuje technické schopnosti a vybavenie operátorov na frekvenciách nad 1 GHz, vyhodnotil Palo OM5CM z Vrábeľ s pomocou kontroly logu From stanice UR7D.
In the 1.3 GHz Single category, the OM3ID station from the JN88LE locator won supremely with a score of 7950 points, which with a power of 10W and a 2x55el.F9FT antenna made 46 connections with an average score of 172.8 points on QSO. It reached the farthest connection with DL0RTA at a distance of 694 km. Second place was taken by OM5CM (1837 points) with 75W power and 2x28el.G3JVL antenna.
Only the OM3ID station started on the 5.7 GHz Single band, which with a minimum power of 180mW and a 1.2m dish reached 782 points in seven connections. The most interesting results came from the 10 GHz Single band, where OM3LQ won (10466 points) with a 0.7m dish and 5W power, before the again successful OM3ID (1464 points).
