Like an antenna
It happened to me, that I very urgently needed an element holder for the VHF antenna. I used an emergency solution, coca cola stopper, which I drilled 2 x from the side and twice from below. The hole must be very tight for the element. Basically, we press the element there by hand. The lower two holes are for attaching the element to the support rod. For long-term use, fill the plug with epoxy. I recommend making a simple hole drill.
