How to add your own articles to www.cq.sk?

You would also like to have at least one of your own articles on www.cq.sk? Yes? Then the following lines are for you…

Of course, you have to start by writing an article. I do it in Word and on the weekends in the T602… Basically it doesn't matter. When I think about it, what will i write, I proceed as follows:

• I will prepare the pictures – I draw diagrams in SKEM. I will save the screen shot with the diagram as a GIF. I save photos as JPG or GIF with a width of 420 pixels. I insert them into the text with that command:

  This command places the file obrazok.jpg on the left side, and when the cursor stops over it, it is written “My picture”.

• In addition, it is possible to insert a table with commands (TABLE), (TR), (TD) and other HTML tags: bold by command (B)text written in bold(/B), italics (I)text written in italics(/I) etc.. It depends only on you.

Let's say, that the article is written, pictures prepared. After arriving at www.cq.sk a registered you will find a box with the name on the right “Upload files”. If you click on it, page will open, where you can browse files (pictures). Then just confirm the action and the files will be copied to the server… You will receive an email shortly, who will once again confirm and advise, how to add image to text.

Click on in the menu “Add news” (or on the small icon under the banner). It opens form page. Use the keyboard shortcuts to copy the article into the form. First, the title of the article, then a paragraph or two, which will be on the main page and until the next part of the rest of the article. Before the final submission of the article take a look – by clicking OK (on the left, the switch is set to “Browse the article”). If the article is read in the form, which suits you, I set the switch to “Submit an article” and I click OK… And that is all.

I will mention, that the article will first be checked by one of the administrators and after its approval, it will appear on the main page, making him virtually immortal…
