Easter race - conditions

These conditions are valid from January 1, 2007 for Veľkonočný pretek (ďalej len hlavný pretek) aj Veľkonočný pretek detí (ďalej len pretek detí), ktorý vyhlasuje Rádioklub Tanvald.

Pretek sa koná vždy na Veľkonočnú nedeľu, a to od 08:00 do 14:00 UTC the main race to which it follows Veľkonočný pretek detí od 14:00 do 15:00 UTC.

Connections with non-competing stations are also valid, but they must transmit the entire competition code, including the sequence number.

Competition categories:

SO (Single Operator) – a station served by one operator without any outside help during the race.
Foreign assistance during the race is understood as the actual operation of the transmitting and receiving equipment, the routing of the antennas, the keeping of a diary and overview of the stations that were worked with, the operation of the device for accessing the packet radio network.

MO (Multi Operator) – other stations.

Types of operation:

CW and phone according to the permit conditions, while it is necessary to follow the recommendations IARU Reg. 1 pre rôzne druhy prevádzky v jednotlivých častiach rádioamatérskych pásiem.

All station equipment must be placed on a surface with a maximum diameter 500 metrov.
The position of the station may not change during the race.

Používanie DX Clusteru and similar services is not limited.

At any given time, each station on one band may only have jeden signál. Signály potrebné na pripojenie do siete packet radio sa neberú do úvahy.

More than one station may broadcast from one station, it depends on the agreement between them.

The output of the final stage of the transmitter must be in accordance with the permit conditions, unless otherwise specified in the rules of the race.
Pre preteky detí platí maximum power 10 watts.

Spojenia EME, cross-band a cez terrestrial or satellite transmitters sa do pretekov nezapočítavajú.

Each station can only be counted on each competition band jedno platné spojenie, pri ktorom bol oboma stanicami odovzdaný a potvrdený kompletný súťažný kód. Opakované spojenia musia byť v denníku označené (RPT, DUPE a pod.) s bodovou hodnotou 0.

Contest code:

Skladá sa z RS alebo RST, serial number of the connection a WW-lokátora.
The sequence number must start with a number on each band 001.
The complete code, including the sequence number of the connection from 001, is also transmitted by non-competing stations that do not want to be evaluated.
Tri nuly 000 are not a valid sequence number - such a connection will be marked as neplatné.
Stations that do not want to be rated do not have to send a log.

Scoring:

It counts for every kilometer of bridged distance between the two stations 1 bod.
The log connection point value must be given as an integer.
It counts for the connection in the same WW-locator 1 bod.

Podľa odporúčania IARU Reg. 1 sa používa koeficient 111,2 to convert degrees to kilometers, taking into account the curvature of the Earth.
The system is used to determine the latitude and longitude of the habitat for calculating the locator WGS-84 (World Geodetic System 1984).

Competition diary:

The diary can be sent to the evaluator iba v elektronickej podobe.
Musí byť vo formáte EDI (REG1TEST) – the standard format for evaluating races within IARU Reg. 1.
The diary in another format will not be accepted and the station will not be evaluated.

Denník musí byť separate for each competition zone.
Musí byť odoslaný no later than the tenth day after the end of the race.

Invalid connections:

The connection is invalid if the station has in the log:

• any error in the received code (brand, report, serial number or locator),
• difference in connection time greater than 10 minút oproti správnemu času UTC.

For repeated and counted connections to the controlled station odpočíta desaťnásobok bodovej hodnoty daného spojenia.

The station will not be evaluated if:

• does not comply with the competition or permit conditions,
• má viac než 10% of incorrectly calculated distances,
• enter false or erroneous data in the diary,
• commits unsportsmanlike conduct during the race.

Prices

Main race:

• Veľké veľkonočné vajce – for a record number of points (sum of all bands on which the station competed).
• Little easter egg
  • za prvé tri miesta in the SO and MO categories, if at least 15 stations are evaluated in the category,
  • za first place, ak je v kategórii hodnotených aspoň 5 staníc,
  • pre the best foreign station pracujúcu mimo územia OK,
  • pre najlepšiu stanicu NOVICE (required to indicate "NOVICE" in the [Remarks] field of the electronic diary).

Race of children:

• Malé veľkonočné vajce – za first three places in absolute order, po sčítaní bodov zo všetkých pásiem, na ktorých stanica súťažila.
  Only operators who, on the day of the race, will be evaluated in this race nedovŕšia vek 18 rokov.
  Nutné je uviesť dátum narodenia operátorov to the [Remarks] field in the electronic journal.

The evaluator's decision is konečné.
