Organizers VHF The Operational Asset Management Company was informed that despite the serious problems caused by the hacker attack, the next round of the competition will take place as planned on Sunday, June 21, 2026.
The competition evaluation website has been unavailable since May 21, 2026, after attackers compromised the server and destroyed its content. The subsequent restoration of data and software was uncertain, so the development of a new evaluation system was underway in parallel. Eventually, the new software was completed and the original system was restored. Most of the database was successfully saved.
Vyhodnocovací softvér je už opäť dostupný na adrese vkvpa.hamradio.cz. Účastníci by si mali skontrolovať svoje výsledky z predchádzajúcich kôl. Ak v databáze chýbajú, Organizers žiadajú zaslať EDI logy na adresu vkvlogy@crk.cz, aby mohli byť doplnené do vyhodnotenia.
Since the attack occurred just before the May round deadline (5/2026), it is possible that some logs were not included in the results. Logs that were emailed during the outage have already been added to the system.
According to information from OK1VUM, the evaluation system will be fully functional and ready to receive logs no later than before the start of the competition.
