Youth Field Day 2026 - results

Youth field day belongs among VHF event organized by the Slovak Association of Radio Amateurs and is intended for stations operated by operators who have not reached the age of 18 on the day of the competition. Competition was held on the 144 MHz and 432 MHz bands in the Single Operator and Multi Operator categories. Results processed by Palo, OM5CM, in version dated August 19, 2026.

Band 144 MHz Single and Multi

In the 144 MHz Single Operator category, OM3KUN won with a score of 6160 points for 45 connections (average 135.9 points per connection), from a JN99JC locator, with a power of 100 W and a 9elY antenna. Its farthest connection (ODX) was station DL3MBG at a distance of 509 km. The second place was taken by OM3KAP with a score of 4083 points (28 QSOs, locator JN98HO, 50 W, antenna OK1KRC 4-el), third place OM3KHT with a score of 3093 points (18 QSOs, locator JN99MA, 50 W, 10-element yagi), with the most distant connection up to IZ0FWE/6 at a distance of 785 km.

In the 144 MHz Multi Operator category, station OM3KMG won with a score of 2227 points (13 QSOs, average 170.3, locator KN08PR, 100 W, 6-element Yagi), which also achieved the farthest connection of the entire 144 MHz band - with IZ0FWE/P at a distance of 901 km. The second place was taken by station OM3KTR with a score of 2118 points (14 QSOs, locator JN88VL, 100 W, antenna 2×8JXX).

Band 432 MHz Single and Multi

In the 432 MHz Single Operator category, only one station competed - OM3KHT with a score of 203 points for 5 connections (average 39.6, locator JN99MA, 50 W, 13-element Yagi), with zero error and the most distant connection with OM6ABA at a distance of 68 km.

In the 432 MHz Multi Operator category, station OM3KHE won with a score of 1482 points (6 QSOs, average 246.0, locator JN99JC, 50 W, 8-element Yagi). Its farthest connection was station OK1KRI at a distance of 316 km, which was also the best connection of the entire 432 MHz band within this year.
