The youth field day is intended for stations served by operators who have not reached the age of 18 on the day of the race. In the race, it is also possible to establish connections with foreign stations as well as with operators older than 18 years.
The race is on 5 July 2008 from 10.00 to 13.00 UT (before Field Day). It competes in the categories 1. 144 MHz – Single, 2. 144 MHz – Multi, 3. 432 MHz – Single and 4. 432 MHz – Multi with CW and FONE modes.
Contest code: RS(T) + sequence number of connection from 001 + WW locator. In order for the connection to be valid for the competing station, it must receive and write down the complete competition code, including the serial number of the connection, from the opposing station. One kilometer of distance covered is equal to 1 point. 1 point is counted for connecting to a station in the locator's own small square. The result is given by the sum of the points for the connections.
The competition diary is sent exclusively in electronic form in the EDI format. Musí byť odoslaný najneskôr desiaty deň po pretekoch cez webové rozhranie na internetovej stránke VHF.szr.sk. Vo výnimočných prípadoch je možné poslať denník aj e-mailom na vkvlogy@pobox.sk alebo na diskete na adresu: Ing. Pavol Zajac, OM5CM, Lúky 1111/12, 95201 Vráble. V denníku musí byť uvedený zoznam operátorov, ktorí zo stanice počas pretekov pracovali a dátumy ich narodenia. Neuvedenie tohto zoznamu bude dôvodom na nehodnotenie stanice.
