Why is there no translator on Echolink Slovakia and there are seventeen in the Czech Republic ?

I was the sysop of the trafficker OM0OUZ in Zvolen, which was connected to Echolink. The log sounded empty and in a week they were in it 3-4 which can be linked with AirScout and operability. It is absolutely inefficient to finance such an operation. PA GI7B.

Now everything is connected through the application “ZELLO” and to tell you the truth, it seems like a smarter and less cumbersome solution. If a reasonable security policy is chosen (password access) so there is quite order. Lately I have it on more often than at home VHF/UHF TCVR 😀

Tibor, I have a choice, either OM0OVV RX will be available via zello in parallel with RXTX zello OM0OUB, or it will go OM0OUB via zello and parallel OM0OUB Echolink. There is no more power used in EEE901.
It is through Echolink “attendance” couple of people per week, mostly for a few minutes. It's through Zello “usability” per week on the level 30 unique signs, during the day is no exception 10 permanently connected listening stations to 0OUB.
There are currently 0OUB available through Zello, 0OUE, 0OH, 0OUW, 0OVT. len RX: 0OVV, OM DMR. So for listening 7 OM operators, how can you have them “attuned” all 7 at once, with echolink, you have to have a public IP or use a proxy (v PC) and if rpt has timeout set… Not to mention the sound quality in Zello's favor.
They are functional in OK 68 FM operators, so they are audible through the echolink 25%.
There are functional ones in OM 25 FM operators, so on zello they are audible 24%.
The main disadvantage of Zello is, that it cannot be connected to the carrier and is therefore only usable from a smartphone or PC and that it is a commercial app.

For Zello + case history “busyness” and a single-user simplex channel option ,where the message will come in case of offline, or signal failure. 8)
and I find Zello to be more data-friendly than Echolink.
The big downside to Zell is randomness (unwanted) locking in the case of unlocking the phone, it happened to me several times 😥
Personally, I'm in favor of Zello, I used the Echolink just in case, when I wanted to find out, or by chance OUB “not hanging” 😆

Thanks to support from Mariano OM1AFX, who delivered a new PC, OM0OUB is available via Echolink and Zello in parallel.

I am working on connecting OM0OVV to Zello, technical problems after HW replacement. I am considering TX through Zello.

Connecting OVV to Echolink on the same HW is not possible, as Echolink requests 3 public ports, which is already occupied by OM0OUB.
