Some time ago you had the opportunity to read how to make a two-channel oscilloscope from a PC. No, the possibilities of measuring with a PC are far from over. However, computers were developed precisely to control complicated machines.
If we do not want to experiment, in that case we will reach for already existing solutions and programs. Even so, we will definitely not ban. I came across the following program by accident - I was looking for something else. Despite the fact that the author probably forgot to sign it out of distraction, I liked it. It is a Frequency Counter 1.01 program.
The program works as a simple NF reader. Works under W95+ with sound card. Just bring the measured signal to the sound card and the measured value of its frequency will appear on the screen.
After starting the program, the main (and only) screen of the program will appear, referring to the classic reader. Below the display there are only two control elements: timer and trigger. To the right of the display, there are buttons with which we start and stop the measurement. Below them are several buttons labeled "hysteresis". Their meaning is not yet clear to me.
It's a shame that the program lacks a tooltip, even though it might not be needed. During the tests, the program worked perfectly. I rate one minus. You can download it in the Download section.
