Final ranking of SLP 2004

Októbrová 8. etapa SLP Competition 2004, ktorá sa uskutočnila počas víkendu 30. a 31. októbra, priniesla ďalšie zaujímavé posuny v celkovom poradí medzi rádioamatérskymi poslucháčmi. Najlepším účastníkom etapy sa stal Jan Mandos (NL997) s vynikajúcim skóre 82 604 bodov, čím potvrdil svoju dominantnú pozíciu v celkovom hodnotení súťaže. Na druhom mieste skončil Alfredo Locatelli (CX-N020) so 31 920 bodmi, zatiaľ čo tretí bol Richard Frank (DH2URF-swl) so 25 289 bodmi. Medzi slovenskými účastníkmi sa najlepšie umiestnil Jozef Marcincák (OM3‑0001) s 24 544 bodmi, čím si zabezpečil silnú pozíciu v celkovom hodnotení.

The final results of the SLP Competition 2004, taking into account the best six stages of each participant, showed a clear winner - NL997 with a total score of 224,681 points, which clearly confirmed its quality and endurance throughout the season. OM3‑0001 finished second with a total of 73,041 points, and ONL3058 was third with 64,093 points. Other placements were also interesting to watch, with DH2URF-swl reaching 49,349 points and NL7403 46,360 points, confirming strong competition among European SWLs.

The 8th stage was not only an opportunity to get high point evaluations, but also to deepen technical experience and test antenna systems. The results of this stage significantly influenced the overall ranking and provided a clear picture of the active and competitive community of radio amateur listeners in 2004.
