Deadline: The race takes place on the third Saturday in September from 04.00 to 06.00 UTC, i.e. from 06.00 to 08.00 summer time, in two one-hour stages. In each stage, it is possible to establish one valid connection with the same station on each band. Connections are established with stations from OM and OK. At the same time as the OM SSB race, the OK SSB race also takes place, and connections with the participants of this race also apply.
Bands: The races take place in the 80m and 160m bands in the following segments:
SSB: 1840–1950 kHz, 3700–3770 kHz

Categories:
– both bands, performance according to permit conditions
– both bands, power up to 100 W
– listeners
Contest code: A code composed of RS, serial number of the connection and district emblem, e.g. 59 001 BAC. It is necessary to follow the exact form of the code when broadcasting and logging, otherwise the connection will be evaluated as faulty.
Scoring: Each established connection is evaluated with one point. The connection is invalid if the station has any error in the received tag or in the received code in the log.
Multipliers: Multipliers are districts, they are calculated on each zone and for each stage separately (one district can be counted as a maximum of 4 multipliers – 1st stage 80 m, 2nd stage 80 m, 1st stage 160 m, 2nd stage 160 m). Own district is not counted as a multiplier. The districts of OK stations are also multipliers.
Result: The total result is calculated by multiplying the sum of the points for the connections by the total number of multipliers.
Diaries: Logs are being sent only in format Cabrillo. Logs must be sent no later than 14 days after the race via the web interface on the website kv.szr.sk, section OM SSB race. If a station does not send a log for evaluation (at least for checking), the connection with that station will only be counted if it appears in at least five logs.
