The competition is organized by the SZR with the aim of increasing the activity of the Slovaks VHF radio amateurs following similar competitions in neighboring states. Only stations operating from the Slovak Republic will be evaluated. The competition is year-round, one stage takes place every month. With one station, it is possible to work once on each band in each stage.

Scoring
A station in the locator's own large square (e.g. JN98) = 2 points, in neighboring large squares = 3 points, in other large squares = 4 points. etc., always 1 point more.
Multipliers
Large squares of the locator, which were worked with during the race in the respective competition zone. The locator's own large square is counted as a multiplier automatically, even if the competing station did not work with anyone from that square during the race.
Stage result
The sum of points for connections in the respective band multiplied by the sum of the multipliers in the respective band.
Full year results
The year-round results will be compiled by adding up the stage results for the period from November to October.
Reports
Reports are sent no later than the third day after the race (i.e. on Wednesday) via the web interface on the website vkv.szr.sk.
