Výsledky 28MHz SWL contest-u 2015

The end of the year belonged to the 28 MHz listening competition on the 10 meter band SWL contest. Preteky, ktoré sa konali počas víkendu 12. – 13. decembra 2015, preverili trpezlivosť operátorov a aktuálne podmienky šírenia na tomto „magickom“ pásme. Hoci účasť nebola masová, dosiahnuté výsledky svedčia o kvalitnej práci zúčastnených staníc.

In the telegraph section, we witnessed an extremely balanced battle at the top. The winner was Petr Pit (R3A-002) with a profit of 5,191 points, who managed to capture the most multipliers (DXCC). He was narrowly missed by German listener Wolfgang Geller (DL-P01-17291), who took second place with 4,984 points. The difference between first and second place was minimal, which indicates very similar efficiency of both operators. The third place belongs to Johan Heus (NL9723), who, however, with 1,536 points, fell significantly behind the leading pair.

Voice traffic brought significantly higher scores and dominance of Dutch listeners. First place went to Kees Schout (NL294) with a fantastic score of 13,846 points and the highest number of captured DXCC countries (40). Johan Heus (NL9723) confirmed his versatility and after the bronze in CW added silver in the background category with a tight margin of 13,420 points. The winner of the CW part, Petr Pit (R3A-002), finished third. The ranking is completed by Marc Stinkens (ONL4638) and Helmut Grund (DE2HUG), who, despite lower profits, showed their fighting spirit in the race.
