The seventh stage of SLP 2012, held on 8–9 September, once again confirmed the dominance of the experienced SWL operators who maintain a stable high performance for a long time. The results show significant differences in the number of points obtained, which reflects both the activity of the competitors during the stage, but also their technical background, experience and ability to effectively map traffic on the bands.

In this stage, Vladimir Ignatov (R3A-847) won by a significant margin with a score of 52,455 points. His result significantly exceeds the other participants and confirms his excellent form from the previous rounds. Jan Mandos (NL997) finished in second place with 37,788 points, which is a less significant result than the winner's, but still represents a solid position in the upper part of the starting field. Jan Meulenberg (NL6828) took third place with 13,578 points, while other participants already obtained point values below ten thousand.
The middle of the field was mainly occupied by operators from the Netherlands - NL6904, NL9723 and NL9745 - who, although they did not reach the top ranks, are steadily collecting points, which is key for the overall ranking. Among the Slovak participants, Jozef Marcinčák (OM3-0001) took the best place in this stage with 5,487 points, which helped him stay in the top three of the overall competition.

Looking at the standings after seven stages, it is clear that the competition is becoming more and more polarized. R3A-847 clearly dominates with a total of 257,521 points, which is more than 24,000 points ahead of the second NL997 (232,784 points). Third place belongs to OM3-0001 with 105,189 points, which means a significant loss to the leading pair, but at the same time a significant lead over other competitors.
The ranking from the fourth to the sixth place is very balanced, where the differences reach only units of a thousand points. Competitors such as W1-7897, NL6828 or NL6904 can speak to the order in the following stages and mix up the situation in the middle of the table.
It is also interesting to follow the participants who missed some rounds - for example VO1-001-SWL or F-11734. Although they get solid results in individual stages, the absences pushed them back significantly in the overall ranking.
