For decades, Harald has been traveling to different countries in Africa, several times a year. Thanks to long-term relationships, he gained a deeper insight into living conditions and what people really lack - the majority of the population has only a minimal income (often uncertain) and a lack of even the most basic needs. School fees, sturdy shoes, suitable clothes and medicines are unaffordable for many. They often lack almost everything that we take for granted. Most people are friendly, open, and willing to help, but they live in real poverty—poverty that doesn't fill a plate, buy shoes, or send a child to school. Imagine if your child had to walk 6 miles to school, or if you had to refill the water canister at a distant gas station...
There is no way to save the whole world, but we can try to make some situations a little more bearable. One drop does not make real rain, but many drops can fill a glass…. Consider!!
