In the article you will read
Why radio amateurs organize DX expeditions
DXCC (DX Century Club) is an ARRL award system that recognizes connections with various countries and territories of the world - so-called entities. Many of these entities are uninhabited islands, countries with minimal amateur radio infrastructure, or territories where licensed operators almost do not exist. For an ordinary radio amateur on another continent, such an entity is practically unreachable other than through a DX expedition - a group of operators who travel to a given location at their own expense and with their own equipment, set up a temporary station there, and for several days to weeks work on all available bands and modes in such a way as to allow as many stations around the world as possible to log this QSO.
Organizing such an expedition involves obtaining licenses and permits from local authorities, transporting hundreds of kilograms of radio equipment and antenna systems, arranging accommodation and transportation in often isolated locations, and financing through sponsors and donors from DX clubs and individual radio amateurs. The CDXP team has been going through these steps repeatedly since 2012.

Historical expeditions (2012–2022)
The oldest CDXP expedition was to Albania in 2012 with the callsign ZA/OK6DJ. In 2013, Burkina Faso (XT2) followed, in 2014 Sint Eustatius in the Caribbean (PJ5/OL8R), in 2015 Zimbabwe (Z21MG) and in 2016 Comoros (D66D). 2017 brought two expeditions – Togo (5V7P) and Mauritania (5T5OK, during which the team lost operator 5T0JL, who became a silent key during their stay). In 2018, Kosovo (Z66D) and Mayotte (TO6OK) followed, in 2019 San Andrés in the Caribbean (5K0K) and in 2020 and again in 2022 Ivory Coast (TU5PCT). 2021 belonged to the expedition to São Tomé (S9OK).
For each of these expeditions, the cdxp.cz website maintains a separate section with news, a photo gallery, a list of sponsors, and in many cases a detailed expedition story, including an online log from the time of operation.
QSL manager

Pre všetky expedície CDXP je QSL managerom David Beran, OK6DJ, na adrese Dolní Kamenice 55, 34562 Holýšov, Česká republika. Tím dôrazne odporúča používať Club Log OQRS pre direct aj bureau QSL žiadosti – žiadosti poštou ani cez bureau priamo nie sú akceptované, OQRS je rýchlejšie, lacnejšie a jednoduchšie.
OK6DJ as QSL manager covers, in addition to CDXP expeditions, a number of other call signs: T8OK, PJ7K, 3B9DJ, OL5WWA, VK9CV, 3B8/OK6DJ, 3B7M and several other prefixes associated with personal OK6DJ journeys (KH6, T7, W6, W8, SV5, SV8, SV9, HB0, TA4, OE2, OM, 4O6DJ).
