Winter QRP race on VKV has already firmly established itself in the calendars of enthusiasts - racers at VHF. Therefore, it was possible to move it from a kind of test phase to a regular mode. Part of that was also handing over the race announcer from my person to ČAV. It is the first step towards the possibility of creating the Czech Republic QRP Championships on VKV, which would be jointly announced by ČAV and ČRK. This idea was discussed at the VKV meeting in Holice.
Originally, I announced the race myself, because at that time there was such a mood among hams that some did not participate in races announced by "the other organization" out of principle. That would not help the new race at the beginning. Fortunately, it seems to have passed now.

Only a minimum has changed in the propositions themselves. The delivery e-mail address for diaries (qrp@seznam.cz) is different, the disqualification rule for more than 10% errors has been abolished, and the rest are just minor wording adjustments. The requirement for power supply from chemical cells remained the same, and the antennas must also be built no earlier than the Friday before the race.
The deadline for sending the diaries remained 10 days, because due to the deadline of the Radioamatér/Radiožurnál magazine, it was necessary to send the new propositions before the meeting of the VKV commission - and moreover, I see no reason why the deadline should be shortened. On the contrary, a longer deadline will be welcomed by those who spend their vacation in the mountains and can send the diary comfortably after their return.
Individuals and clubs are still evaluated together in the race.
I am asking for it to be stated in the PSect item in the diaries whether it is Single, Multi or Check. This is important so that in the future Czech Championships, which will undoubtedly have Single and Multi categories, it will be possible to classify the points correctly.
The winter QRP race is open and international, so I invite all friends of QRP operation on VKV in the surrounding countries to get out of their shoes and participate in the race for tough guys and indomitable women.
I will look forward to your journals.
The next Winter QRP race will take place on Sunday, February 6, 2011.
