What is Geochron Atlas 4K?
The hardware base of the system is a commercial minicomputer designed for continuous operation 24/7. Geochron offers two variants: Atlas 3 as a basic model and Atlas Pro for more powerful configurations with a larger number of active layers simultaneously. Both models connect to any 4K TV with a standard HDMI port, do not require a monitor or keyboard - control is carried out using the supplied remote control or a mobile application for iOS and Android. An Internet connection (Wi-Fi or Ethernet) is required for live layers, time synchronization and system updates.
The basic package includes lifetime map data – geopolitical with POIs, geopolitical with ocean POIs, topographic, amateur radio and low-resolution geopolitical – as well as 16 free live layers. These include air traffic tracking (up to 500 flights simultaneously), global weather, satellites and automatic display dimming based on the user's location. Time is synchronized to an accuracy of 500 milliseconds.

Ham Radio Bundle: rozšírenie pre aktívneho operátora
Ham Radio Bundle je prémiová vrstva dostupná formou predplatného – mesačne, štvrťročne alebo ročne. Predplatné odomkýna súbor vrstiev priamo orientovaných na rádioamatérsku prevádzku. The MUF (Maximum Usable Frequency) layer displays the maximum usable frequency on a map of the Earth in the form of a color overlay, in both topographic and heat map versions. The AMSAT layer tracks the position of amateur satellites with an adjustable footprint display and sends notifications when they pass over the user's location. The position of the ISS is also tracked. For field activators, the Parks on the Air (POTA) and Summits on the Air (SOTA) layers are available, showing currently active stations on the map.
Ionospheric conditions are represented by the DRAP (D-Region Absorption Prediction) and ROTI (Rate of TEC Index) layers, which allow monitoring of current interference on the HF bands caused by solar activity. The Maidenhead grid network is viewable as a static layer for orientation in locator squares, including CQ zones and ITU zones.
The system allows you to upload your own log in ADIF format and display the call sign and made QSOs on a map. The operator's call sign can be displayed directly on the display with adjustable font and color.
