Hello everyone… You are the owner of Icom IC 706 ? What is your experience with this tcvr? I expect him to, that as a beginner it could happily suffice… Does anyone know the price of a new tcvr IC 706 ? Thanks… 73 the OM4AJK 🙂 ❓

The Icom IC-706 MK II G is currently in Germany for 815 EUR, plus postage so max. 20 ME.
TRX is excellent, I recommend.
Hi JosephI looked online but couldn't find any prices… TS 50 it is quite old and weak but it would be enough..I would rather take a cheaper and better tcvr …

If you care about features and design, buy an IC 7800 or something similar :-)) and beware if the transceiver is for very cheap money , it may be irreparably damaged or partially non-functional . I've seen 706s like that. It would be best if an experienced ham tested it for you .
