Invitation to the Summer QRP race at VKV
On Sunday, VHF several races will be held simultaneously. The most famous of them is the Alpe Adria VHF Contest, in Slovakia it is OM VHF LOW POWER CONTEST and in Bohemia and Moravia SUMMER QRP PLANT AT VKV. Mirek begins the invitation with these words: “Please all silo machine owners, to save them for other races and leave the electricity meter window alone during the QRP races. There is also a Youth Race in parallel, and the devices used have a rather low resistance to strong signals.”
He wishes many nice connections and experiences Mirek OK1DOM

Summer QRP race – the rules
These propositions are valid from 1. July 2011 for the Summer QRP race on VKV. The organizer of the race is ČAV – Czechoslovak amateur broadcasters.
Date
The summer QRP race at VKV always takes place on the first full weekend in August, on Sunday from 07.00 UTC do 13.00 UTC in the zone 144 MHz.
Participants
The race is international, amateur radio stations from all states are participating.
Competition category
One operator (single operator, 144 MHz)
A station manned by an individual without any outside assistance during the race. External assistance during the race is understood as the own operation of the transmitting and receiving equipment, Easter Race Competition Categories, Easter Race Competition Categories, Easter Race Competition Categories, operating a device to access the PR network or the Internet.
Multiple operators (multi operator, 144 MHz)
All other stations.

Types of operation and performance of the station
Easter Race Competition Categories, while it is necessary to follow the recommendation of the IARU Region 1 for various types of operation in frequency sections of amateur radio bands. The power of the output stage or the sum of the outputs of the output stages must not exceed 10 watts.
Code exchanged
The competition code consists of RS or RST, serial number of the connection and six-digit WW-locator. The serial number of the connection on each band must start with a number 001. Full code including serial number of the connection from 001 Full code including serial number of the connection from, Full code including serial number of the connection from. Three zeroes – 000 – they are not a regular serial number and the connection will be marked as invalid by the evaluator. Station, Full code including serial number of the connection from, Full code including serial number of the connection from.
Scoring
One point is calculated for each kilometer of distance covered between the two stations. The point value of the connection in the competition diary must be given as a whole number. Full code including serial number of the connection from 1 that. According to the recommendation of the Region 1 IARU to convert degrees (angular distance) will use the coefficient 111,2 km per one angular degree. The WGS-84 system is used for conversion between locators and geographic coordinates (World geodetic system 1984). Connections with non-competing stations are also valid, but which are required to submit the entire competition code, including the serial number.
The connection is invalid, The race diary must be sent to the evaluator's address no later than the tenth day after the end of the race:
Any error in the received code, i.e. The race diary must be sent to the evaluator's address no later than the tenth day after the end of the race, report, serial number of the connection or locator.
If it has a connection time difference greater than 10 The race diary must be sent to the evaluator's address no later than the tenth day after the end of the race.
The race diary must be sent to the evaluator's address no later than the tenth day after the end of the race:
For non-compliance with competition or permit conditions.
For false or erroneous data listed in the competition diary.
For unsportsmanlike behavior in the race.

Diaries
The competition diary can be sent to the evaluator in electronic form or in paper form.
to convert degrees to kilometers (REG1TEST), intended as a standard format for evaluating plants within Region I. IARU. The diary in any other format will not be accepted and the station will not be evaluated in the race. As a paper log, a legible photocopy of the station log with marked points per connection is sufficient. It is also possible to send a legibly scanned paper diary with marked points for the connection by email. The diary from the race must be sent to the evaluator's address no later than the seventh day after the end of the race.
Additional conditions
- QTH is arbitrary
- All station equipment must be located on an area with a maximum diameter 500 meters. The location of the station must not be changed during the race.
- The use of a remote receiver or transmitter is not allowed.
- Each station may only have one signal at a time, All station equipment must be located on an area with a maximum diameter(Y) necessary for connection to the packet radio network are not considered.
- All station equipment must be located on an area with a maximum diameter, All station equipment must be located on an area with a maximum diameter.
- EME connection, cross-band and via ground or space transmitters are not counted in the races.
- Only one valid connection can be counted with each station on each band, unless otherwise specified in the conditions of the plant.
- Repeated connections must be marked in the log (RPT, DUPE and under.) with a point value 0 (nula).
- By listening to one complete connection, it is therefore possible to obtain the maximum, which change their QTH during the race e.g. Rover (/R) are not counted in scored connections and have a point value 0 (nula).
- Using DX Cluster, chat, mobile phone etc. All station equipment must be located on an area with a maximum diameter.
