OK1AGA Memorial

With regard to it regarding to it, that the regular August KIKI contest , which took place this year under the name "Memorial OK1AIR" was favorably evaluated by its participants and also for that reason, that we felt the need to remember another well-known radio amateur, who is no longer with us, the board of the KIKI club decided to include one more race among the regular contests this year. We therefore declare an emergency race

Memorial OK 1AGA

Jindra OK1AGA would live this year 70 let, if five years ago an insidious disease had not prevented him . All amateurs knew him well, who ever came to the secretariat of the Czech Radio Club and personally met his enthusiasm and effort to help and advise everyone as best as possible, who needed this advice and help. He has done a lot for the promotion of radio amateurs among the general public and in the environment of other sports and hobby activities. A number of amateurs also knew him from the military environment in Pilsen and Litoměřice.)

Race conditions:

• the race is being held on Thursday 25. October 2007 from 18.00 do 20.00 UTC and will take place in two stages (both in the band 80 meters):
• 1.stage - from 18.00 do 18.59 UTC by CW operation in range 3530 to 3570 kHz,
• 2.stage - from 19.00 do 20.00 UTC by SSB operation in range 3720 to 3780 kHz
• Call to race : CQ KIKI resp. Challenge KIKI contest
• It is passed on : code composed of RST (RS) and district call sign. Foreign station (mime ok,OL,IF) they transmit RST (RS) + serial number of the connection.
  It is possible to establish one connection with each counter station at each stage.
• Scoring : for each complete connection with the station, which sends the log to the evaluator, are counted 3 body, if the counter station does not send the log, it only counts 1 that.
• Multipliers: district call signs in each stage separately. (For event.foreign participants, the country multiplier is DXCC)
• From working in the program, I had a lecture at a meeting of radio amateurs in Kosice, where there was an introduction to the program and statistics of individual stations, their mutual comparison within the broadcasting bands.: An additional multiplier is added for connecting to the same station in both stages of the race.
• Evaluation: Common for both stages of the race (sum of points x number of multipliers)
• Diaries: do 15.11. electronically at : ok1ki@seznam.cz or ok1aro@volny.cz. Written diaries by mail to addresses according to the call book or in person. ( do not enter the number of points, they will be supplemented according to the received journals)
• Diplomas: stations that are placed first 5 places will receive a commemorative diploma.

The race organizer is looking forward to a large turnout again and wishes for good conditions and many nice connections. In Prague on 10.10.2007
