General conditions of races and competitions on VHF valid from 1.1.2004

1. Validity

1.1 These general conditions apply from 1.1.2004.
1.2 The general conditions apply to all VHF races, declared
Slovak Radio Amateur Association. For each race, the announcer can define additional conditions, which supplement or extend these general conditions.
1.3 50 MHz IARU Contest, The Ondrej Oravec Memorial and VHF / UKV Prevadzka's assets are governed by their own conditions.

2. General conditions

2.1 Only one valid connection can be counted with each station in each competition zone, in which a complete contest code was sent and confirmed by both stations.
2.2 It is allowed to use during the race DX cluster or other similar information networks. None of the forms of self-approval in a DX cluster is allowed during the race.
2.3 Competing stations are obliged to comply with the valid permitting and competition conditions even in international races., even in the case of, when it hurts them in relation to other competitors.
2.4 Only those stations will be evaluated in the national ranking, who will take part in the race from the territory of the Slovak Republic. Logs received from other stations will only be used for checking.

3. Sutazne QTH

3.1 Concurrent QTH is the site, of which one station (individual or multiple operators) take part in a given race on one or more lanes. It is QTH:

    • a) stale QTH – is unambiguously given the addresses of permanent residence and permanent residence stated in the permit document. If the habitat is permanently on the cat, plati bod c).
    • b) transient QTH – is a site outside the permanent QTH, which is not a cat. If there is a temporary habitat on the cat, point c applies).
    c) kota – is the top of a hill or other place outside the town and village. The minimum altitude of the cat is 200 m.

3.2 Sutazne QTH – cats (see point 3.1. writings. c) are assigned, I register and occupy according to the Rules for Allocation and Registration of Cots for VHF competitions in the territory of the Slovak Republic, which are part of these General Terms and Conditions.
3.3 From assigned, of the registered and occupied cat, the station has the right to broadcast on all VHF bands in the given races. The station has the right to broadcast on all VHF bands in the given races from the assigned kit 5 The station has the right to broadcast on all VHF bands in the given races from the assigned kit, The station has the right to broadcast on all VHF bands in the given races from the assigned kit, The station has the right to broadcast on all VHF bands in the given races from the assigned kit, The station has the right to broadcast on all VHF bands in the given races from the assigned kit, The station has the right to broadcast on all VHF bands in the given races from the assigned kit.
3.4 It is not allowed to change the current QTH station during the race. The use of multiple competitive QTHs in one race is not allowed. 3.5 All antennas and equipment, used during the race, they must be physically located in a circle of diameter 500 meters.

4. Competitive categories

4.1 Individual stations, Single Op. (SO) – stations serviced by individuals, which actually broadcasts during the race, reception on another device, diary management, station overview management, antenna routing, etc., without any help from other people. The establishment of a station before the start of the race and the liquidation of the station after their end are not considered as assistance in the race..
4.2 Multi-station stations, Multi Op. (MO) – other stations
4.3 Category numbering:

 	1. 144 MHz - SO	10. 5,7 GHz - MO 2. 144 MHz - MO 11. 10 GHz - SO 3. 432 MHz - SO 12. 10 GHz - MO 4. 432 MHz - MO 13. 24 GHz - SO 5. 1,3 GHz - SO 14. 24 GHz - MO 6. 1,3 GHz - MO 15. 47 GHz - SO 7. 2,3 GHz - SO 16. 47 GHz - MO 8. 2,3 GHz - MO 17. 76 GHz - SO 9. 5,7 GHz - SO 18. 76 GHz - MO

5. Types of operation

5.1 CW and FONE operations are allowed in the race – according to the permit conditions, it is necessary to follow the recommendations of the permanent working group of the IARU Region Commission 1., concerning the use of different types of operation in different VHF frequency bands.

6. Transmitter output stage power

6.1 The maximum power of the transmitter output stage is according to the permitting conditions, unless otherwise specified.

7. Sutazny signal

7.1 Each station may have only one contiguous signal at a time. The signals necessary to connect to a radio packet network are not considered concurrent.

8. Sutazny code

8.1 The connection code is exchanged for connections, consisting of RS or RST, serial number of the connection from 001 on each competition zone separately and WW locator, unless otherwise specified.

9. Scoring

9.1 Unless otherwise specified, one kilometer of bridged distance is scored, measured or calculated according to the WW locator system, one bodom. At the same time, this distance must not exceed the actual distance by more than 5 km. For connection to the station in own
the little creature creature feels 1 that (e.g.. z JN88NE do JN88NE). 9.2 According to the IARU Region I recommendation, a coefficient must be used to convert degrees per kilometer 111,2 taking into account the curvature of the Earth.
9.3 Repeated connections must be marked in the log (RPT, DUPE and under.) with a point value 0.

10. Invalid connections

10.1 Crossband connections do not apply in races, EME, MS and connections established via ground or space carriers.

11. Own WW locator

11.1 To determine the latitude and longitude of the competition station, from which the locator is calculated, the WGS-84 system is used (World Geodetic System 1984).
11.2 Tolerance of geographical coordinates of a contestant (from which the locator is calculated) voci factoch, must not exceed a circle of diameter 1 km.

12. All times

12.1. Times listed in the contest log must be in UTC only. Connections, which were started before the official start of the race, or which were started after the official end of the race, are free of charge.

13. Sutazny dennik

13.1. The competition diary is sent exclusively in electronic form in EDI format. Logs sent in another format will only be used for checking. The competition diary must be sent no later than the tenth day after the race to the evaluator's address, either on a floppy disk or by e-mail.

14. Deductions of connection points

14.1. Deductions of connection points are based on the recommendations of the IARU Region VHF Commission 1 these:

    • a) The connection is invalid for the station, which has in the diary any error in the received brand and code (disagreement with the broadcast mark and code), that is, in the report, connection serial number and locator.
    • b) The connection is invalid for the station, which has a difference in ca
    • with connections more than 10 minutes from UTC time.
    c) For a repeated and counted connection, the inspected station is counted ten times the point value of the counted repeated connection.

15. Disqualification station

15.1. The station will be disqualified as unfit for:

    • a) non-compliance with competition conditions
    • b) listing of unrealized connections in the competition diary
    • c) false information in the contest diary
    • d) missing essential data in the diary
    • e) setting a time other than UTC
    • f) more than 10 % badly calculated distances
    g) broadcast from competitive QTH, which has been assigned to another station, or from its protection zone, if a dispute arises between these stations

If there are changes in the assigned cats after the race before the race is published
