Results of SLP 1/2007

Prvý etapa Short Listening Contestu, ktorý sa konala 27. a 28. januára 2007, priniesla napínavé súťaženie pre rádioamatérov a poslucháčov z rôznych krajín. Tento špeciálny contest je zameraný na SWL stations, i.e. shortwave listeners who document the reception of radio and amateur radio signals on various bands. The goal of the competition is to score the highest possible number of points based on the quality and number of captured stations, while the accuracy of the records and the consistent keeping of the diary are important.

In the first list of results, the names of experienced and active listeners from various countries who demonstrated their abilities in shortwave reception appeared. The winner was Vladimir Ignatov (R3A‑847) with an impressive number of 12,325 points, followed by domestic participant Jozef Marcincák (OM3‑0001) with 6,555 points.
