USB tester

Many more technically proficient radio amateurs can assemble a computer on their own. It is possible to buy an older motherboard for a few crowns on the stock exchange. However, documentation for such components is often a problem.

Although many connectors are solved "foolproof", connecting the frame with USB connectors may not be straightforward. Rado from Slovenské Nové Mesto made a simple tester, which will allow you to verify the correctness of the USB connection to the motherboard. Some USB devices (e.g.. memory keys, cameras) they are sensitive to proper connection and attempts could end up damaging them. Everything is clear from the diagram:
The two-color LED indicates the correct polarity of the voltage. When connected correctly, it lights up green, red LED in case of incorrect connection. The value of the resistor is 330 to 1000 ohms.
