Second round SLP Competition 2017 was held March 4-5, 2017 and again brought a competitive battle between international listeners of radio amateur operation (SWL). This round was important for the overall standings of the series, where points from individual stages are added up to determine the overall leaders.
In the second round, first place was taken by Johan Heus (NL9723) with performance 4158 points, just before Sjukom Veenstrom (NL6904), which he obtained 4080 points. He placed third Marc Stinkens (ONL4638) Sat 2257 points, while other participants also performed solidly and widened the points gap in the middle part of the table.
The running order after two rounds shows Sjuk Veenstra (NL6904) headed by the total 10,500 points, while the second place belongs to to Johan Heus (NL9723) with a grand total 9816 points. He holds the third place in the current ranking Kees Schout (NL294) with the sum 4518 points.
Thus, the second round once again demonstrated the balance between the main participants of the series and confirmed the importance of each round for the final ranking of the SLP Competition 2017.
