”NS – BRI – S” Czechia – British – Slovak QRP race in 2003
Alex OM6SA sent us an article about the upcoming QPR race, which will take place in two weeks. We keep our fingers crossed for the participants! MNI TNX Alex.
This race, or rather, days of QRP activity of Slovak, Czech and British radio amateurs, organized by G-QRP-Club especially for OM, OK and G stations. Max. TX power is 5W. Apart from the Slovak members of G-QRP-C, every OM radio amateur is welcome in this race, who is able and willing to work with low power. After all, it is not a problem to reduce the power on a more powerful device down to 5W, output from the exciter, or at the end of the week, take a flight recorder and do one or more watt TX for this race as well as other races, which also have a QRP category. OM stations, who take part in the race and send a diary for evaluation will even win a small participation commemorative prize.
We establish connections with all QRP stations. Call CQ QRP or CQ CZEBRIS.

The winning G4MRH had this one “equipment” : Ten-Tec Argosy (5W) and the Windom antenna at the height 7 m.
Compared to the year 2001 the participation in this race in 2002 was shamefully small, so I'd rather not even write about it. No OM stations. So let's spin it up a bit this year.
