GlobaSET 2009 and the A.R.E.S. SZR.

The GlobalSET exercise is announced for Saturday, April 18 2009 in time from 11:00 do 15:00 UTC. Stations registered in GlobalSET will take part in the exercise 2009 for individual Regional Coordination Centers of A.R.E.S. - OM9HQ, OM3KTR, OM3KRN, OM3KWZ, OM3KMK, OM3KHE a OM3VSZ. For reasons, which brought about the earthquake in Italy, we supplement the GlobalSET exercise 2009 o short exercise A.R.E.S. SZR. This will take place during the last hour of the GlobalSET exercise, t.j. from 14.00 do 15.00 UTC in accordance with the conditions of the GlobalSET exercise 2009 (http://www.szr.sk/ares/globalset2009.htm) and IARU Liaison Procedures (http://www.szr.sk/ares/Subory/spojpostup.doc). The launch will be on the frequency 3768 kHz +/- QRM. The control station in this radio network will be the station of the Coordination Center A.R.E.S. - OM9HQ. The aim of this exercise will be to practice emergency communication and the transmission of telegrams, the content of which can be short information in accordance with the permit conditions. We ask that other stations on the band not interfere with the ongoing communication, they did not disturb and remained on the reception.
