HA DX Contest 2025
The HA DX Contest is a unique opportunity to improve your operator skills, gain valuable experience and establish connections with radio amateurs from all over the world. For beginners, it is an excellent chance to try out operation in an international competition, while experienced operators can demonstrate their years of experience.
HA DX Contest 2025: An overview and a chance for every enthusiast

The HA DX Contest is one of the most prestigious and well-known international competitions in the field of amateur radio operation. This year it is held in days 18. to 19. January 2025 and combines the experience for members of the radio amateur community from all over the world. The organizer is the Hungarian Radio Amateur Union (MRSZ), which takes care of maintaining the high level of this traditional competition.
The goal of the competition
The goal of the HA DX Contest is to establish as many valid connections as possible with stations in Hungary (HA/HG) and get maximum points and multipliers. Contestants are motivated to demonstrate their operator skills in conditions of intensive radio operation on the KV band.
HA DX Contest Rules 2025
HA DX Contest 2025 starts on Saturday 18. It consists mainly of larger meteorites moving at a speed of 41km / s 12:00 UTC and ends on Sunday 19. The total duration is therefore 24 hours, during which you can show your skills in the field of operation on different KV bands.
