SNP RACE 2015

Every year on the third Sunday of August, a traditional radio amateur race is held in honor of the anniversary of the Slovak National Uprising. The race brings together stations from OM and OK, as well as Slovaks and Czechs working abroad. The competition is intended for individuals and club stations with one operator. The organizer is the radio club OM3KFV from Vrútok. It takes place on the 80m CW and SSB bands and offers six categories for different performance classes. Slovaks and Czechs abroad enter the zip code and district emblem of the place they come from in the competition code.

• Stages: Two one-hour stages, the first from 06.00 to 06.59 and the second from 07.00 to 07.59 local time.
• Operation: CW, SSB
• Band: 3520-3560 KHz CW and 3700-3770 kHz SSB
• Categories:
  V preteku je 6 kategórií: A1- QRO,CW A2- QRO,SSB A3- QRO,MIX B1- QRP,CW B2- QRP,SSB B3- QRP,MIX
  The power of QRO is according to the permit conditions, QRP maximum 10W power input or 5W power. Listeners (category P) can also participate under normal conditions.
• Competition code:
  V prvej etape: RST (RS), číslo QSO od 001, poštové smerové číslo QTH a počiatočné písmená mena a priezviska operátora. napr. 579 001 03861 JM (Jožko Motyčka z Vrútok)
  In the second stage: RST (RS), QSO number (which continues from the first stage), district emblem and the last two digits of the operator's year, e.g. 559 037 MAR 43 (Martin district, operator year 1943). Female operators can give the code "00" instead of the year code.
  Stations working /p in field conditions give the zip code of the nearest village or settlement.

  Scoring: 5 points for QSOs with OM, OK, Slovaks and Czechs abroad.

• Multipliers: Each new zip code and each new district emblem
• Result: The sum of QSO points from both stages is multiplied by the sum of the multipliers from both stages.
  In categories A3 and B3, 2 connections can be established with the same station in each stage, one on CW and one on SSB. However, the time difference between such QSOs must be at least 5 minutes. Each such connection is worth 5 points. However, the multipliers are calculated only once in each stage, regardless of the method of broadcasting (CW, SSB)
• Denníky: Na predpísaných tlačivách odoslať do 30 dní po preteku na: Rádioklub OM3KFV, pošt.priečinok č.3, 038 61 VRÚTKY. Vzor denníka a titulnej strany si môžete vyžiadať na horeuvedenej adrese (priložte obálku so známkou) alebo si ich stiahnuť z internetovej tabule SZR alebo OM3KFV. Stále sa opakujúce vlastné vysielané kódy stačí v denníku zapísať len raz do prvého riadku na každej strane. Môžete poslať aj počítačom vytvorené denníky a titulné strany. Ak však tieto budú po prenose cez Internet zdeformované alebo ťažko čitateľ- né, budeme ich považovať za denníky pre kontrolu. Adresa pre elektronickú poštu v textovom formáte :

  Stations broadcasting in /p field conditions will be evaluated separately when there are at least 5 of them. However, they must state their field QTH on the front page of the diary.
• Diplomas: All race participants who send a competition diary for evaluation.
• Prizes: SNP trophy. The winner of each category (depends on the minimum number of 5 participants)
  Unless otherwise stated, the general conditions for KV races apply.
