QRP KV transceivery MIZUHO z JA
An increasing number of people interested in QRP traffic are fond of various mini QRP transceivers, kits or ready-made devices from all over the world. Miniatures are now also entering the EU (small!) transceivers of the Japanese company MIZUHO, which are unbelievably popular in the home JA and also in the USA. This is a fairly simple single-mix single-band CW/SSB transceiver concept, but which has an intermediate frequency 4 crystal filter, built-in RIT, VXO, attenuator and even space for accumulators. There is also charging, S-metr, W-metr apod. Of course, the parameters are not dazzling compared to the K2, but at a price from 4.000-6.000 including postage from JA or. US to OK/OM is a pleasant one “a toy”, with which it is very easy to establish a QRP connection, because it stands out with excellent sensitivity. With a power of 2W, it is then possible to connect even from weekend QTHs with a solid antenna, or cars and etc. i DX QSO. Very comprehensive information can be found at www.qsl.net/ok1rp including extensions, adjustments, accessories etc. The Japanese manufacturer is surprised by the continued interest in these transceivers despite their simplicity ( and thus all natural vices) and despite limiting production to a few bands. The company supplied 80-10m bands + 6m a 2m. Now there is only 15m/40m and 6m in small series production and therefore all other bands are in extreme demand and almost impossible to get even at a price of e.g.. 300USD apod. The products bear the designation MX-..S, possibly their modifications. The 15/40m bands are especially popular, which appear on the concession lists of beginner classes in JA.
