SARTG WW RTTY contest je každoročné podujatie usporadúvané organizáciou Scandinavian Amateur Radio Teleprinter Group (SARTG). Ide o jeden z tradičných RTTY pretekov v kalendári, zameraný na nadväzovanie čo najväčšieho počtu spojení digitálnym módom RTTY naprieč viacerými KV pásmami.

Termín SARTG WW RTTY Contest 2026
The race is traditionally held on the third full weekend in August. In 2026, it will be held on August 15 and 16. The operation is not continuous throughout the entire 48-hour weekend, but is divided into three separate periods:

The total operating time is therefore 24 hours divided into three blocks, not a continuous 48-hour marathon.
Bands
The competition takes place on five HF bands: 80, 40, 20, 15 and 10 meters.
Categories
Competitors can enter in the following categories: single-operator station on all bands (SINGLE-OP, band ALL), single-operator station on one selected band (SINGLE-OP with a specific band 80M, 40M, 20M, 15M or 10M), multi-operator station with one transmitter on all bands (MULTI-ONE) and SWL (listener) category on all bands. Single-operator stations entered on all bands may, in addition to the main log, also submit a separate log for one selected band. Assistance in the form of DX spotting and station alerts is permitted in all categories. The power category is divided into HIGH and LOW; if the log does not indicate the power category, it is counted as HIGH.
Fashion
The race is operated exclusively in RTTY mode.
Contest code (exchange)
The exchange consists of an RST message and a QSO number, starting from 001.
Scoring
The point value of a connection depends on the geographical relationship between the stations. A connection with your own country is worth 5 points. A connection with another country on your own continent is worth 10 points. A connection with other continents is worth 15 points.

Multipliers
The multiplier is each DXCC country worked on each band, including the separate counting of the first contact with Australia, Canada, Japan and the USA. In addition, each call area within VK, VE, JA and W is also counted as a multiplier on each band. Stations working from a different call area than their home call sign are required to indicate the actual call area using the suffix "/x", for example K5DJ/1.
Score
The total score is calculated as the sum of all QSO points multiplied by the sum of all multipliers: sum of QSO points × sum of multipliers = total score.
Instructions for diaries and deadline for sending them
Preferovaným formátom pre elektronické podanie denníka je Cabrillo, aj keď nie je striktne povinný. V hlavičke Cabrillo súboru je potrebné uviesť názov preteku ako SARTG-RTTY. Kategória operátora (CATEGORY-OPERATOR) môže byť SINGLE-OP, MULTI-ONE, SWL alebo checklog, kategória pásma (band-category) je ALL, 80M, 40M, 20M, 15M alebo 10M a výkonová kategória HIGH alebo LOW. Denníky je možné nahrať priamo cez webové rozhranie (log robot), ktoré denník automaticky skontroluje a zobrazí zoznam prijatých (claimed) skóre.
Jednooperátorské stanice prihlásené na všetkých pásmach, ktoré chcú byť hodnotené aj v kategórii jedného pásma, musia podať úplne samostatný denník pre toto pásmo, pomenovaný podľa vzoru volacíznak_pásmo.log, napríklad sm7bhm_80.log.
Paper logs are also accepted - they must be in chronological order and contain the same information as the electronic submission, along with a written summary sheet. For logs with more than 100 connections, a duplicate sheet and a multiplier sheet must also be attached. Check logs are welcome as they serve to cross-check other records.
The deadline for submitting the diary for evaluation is September 12, 2026.
