SSB Liga 2021 – frequency range and lower segment

I received comments from SSB League participants regarding the overpressure on the band. In particular, they pointed to the fact, that used 75 kHz is really little with a relatively large participation. It has been valid for several years, that the lower segment can also be used. A few individuals have advocated broadcasting in the lower segment as well, however, the majority did not allow themselves to be swayed, and the result is the situation today, when in the lower segment, racing in the SSB League basically does not take place. It is a great pity not only because of the space, but also because of that, that in OK, Novice class permit holders cannot, and thus especially the youth, transmit in the upper segment, where the operation takes place today.

I would like to change this and therefore decided to send out a call to the radio amateur community to use the lower segment. I promised to start using this segment, that I will be the first three rounds of the year 2021 broadcast exclusively in the lower segment. I challenged the other participants, let them join me. Considering the positive feedback, it looks like it, that I will not broadcast alone in the lower segment, HI. I am very happy and appreciate the support of other SSB League participants. I will be most pleased, when the operators of the Novice class and especially our youth also come to the plant.
