OL Party results 2024
The sixteenth round of OL Party is behind us… Nevertheless, that we are not getting any younger, surprisingly, the number of stations does not decrease - this year it even appeared 6 "new" ex OL (OK2BFO ex OL7BUM, OM5CD from OL8CGB, OK1FGM former OL1VBM, OK1FUJ from OL5BCR, ex OK1MMW ex OL5AOY a OK1VCF ex OL1VRN). Personally, I was most pleased with Jirka ex OK1MMW (autor transceivera M160), which, after years without a concession, appeared under the collective brand OK1KHK. which they could tell you, a list of those, who will never broadcast again, has expanded, let's mention Ivan OK1LL ex OL9ACZ. Conditions and signals on 160 m were weaker (maybe that's why, that today few people have a quality antenna and in general the level of QRM from various electronic devices has increased), 80 m walked steadily. The reports are mostly fine, but it wouldn't hurt to stick to the pattern more - it will make the evaluator's job easier, which then does not have to manually add the connections and multipliers. Participation in the Retro category was worse - although many were going, there was no more breaking of bread, see participant comments. They will hear from you in a year!
