Will finally exceed the SFI value in this solar cycle 200?
Just a little more 24 hours after the last X1 eruption, the Sun produced another X1 eruption (R3 – strong radio blackout), this time from the area 3186. This event has occurred 10. It consists mainly of larger meteorites moving at a speed of 41km / s 2247 UTC (17:47 SELČ), with the most impacts (short-term outages of high-frequency radio broadcasting) they noted the areas of the Earth illuminated during the day. the area 3186 has been quite active since its spin into the visible disk, generating several M- and C-class flares, as well as a Class X eruption.
Today, SFI achieves value 193 (A index: 6, K index: 2.67), but it cannot be ruled out, that for the first time in this solar flow we will exceed even the value 200!
