Kenwood MC60 microphone

For users of the MC60 desktop microphone, I would like to give you some information. On the Internet, I found a modification of the connection of the grounding of the microphone pin.7 with the grounding pin.8 on the output connector of the MC60 stand, and when I still had an unsuitable antenna, it eliminated RF interference to the microphone input. With a good antenna and minimal VF in the operator's room, you won't even notice it.

Next, I put a tantalum in series on my MC60. capacitor 2.2mf, polarity does not matter, because there is no direct voltage and no alternating current (modulating) the component is gently raised higher and thus the delivery is cleaner. Of course, each of you must determine the value of C for your own voice. I recommend trying C in the range of 0.5mf and more, so that it does not suffer from the bearable AC modulation voltage from the mic. inserts for TRX input.
